Paying tribute to the sons and daughters of Azerbaijan who sacrificed their lives for independency and sovereignty of motherland, thousands of people visit to the Alley of Martyrs on January 20, 2022 which has become place of oath for young people in our country. The 32nd anniversary of those tragic bloody events that engraved on blood memory of our people is commemorated with respect and deep sorrow everywhere at our country during these days and read prayers for the souls of martyrs.     

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Supreme Commander-in-Chief, His Excellency Mr.  Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva visited to the Alley of Martyrs on January 20, 2022, commemorated the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for independency and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. As His Excellency said in his speech, the second Karabakh war will remain in the history as glorious victory of Azerbaijan: “All our people have enough contributions in achieving this victory. We won this victory because of bravery of our military personnel, blood of our martyrs and proper military policy of our state. May God have mercy on all our martyrs and heal our wounded military servants! “ 

This barbaric act as one of the worst crimes against humanity has been written as a black page in the history of mankind. However, no matter how tragic on January 20, 1990 massacre was, it could not break the will of Azerbaijani people, their determination to fight for national liberation. The sons and daughters of our motherland who were killed cruelly at that night opened the brightest page in the history of Azerbaijan as well as opened the way of freedom and independence of our people.   

In connection with the Day of Remembrance, stands reflecting the bloody January tragedy events were organized at the head office and production sites of “Ekol Engineering Services” CJSC.

Memory of our sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives for freedom and sovereignty of our motherland will never be forgotten.
